Scott Henry: Drum Teacher
Hey! I'm Scott, I've been playing drums for over 15 years and have been playing professionally for the last 8 years. I have completed all 8 grades under the Rockschool syllabus and have a Level 3 Diploma in Music Performance. For the last 3 years I have been performing with my band Lady of Mars. We have managed to play some incredible bucket list gigs/festivals of mine such as the Isle of Wight Festival, 2000 Trees, The Great Escape, Rock n Roll Circus. And supporting bands like Don Broco, The K's, The Damned, MIRADOR, The Molotovs. We recently signed our first record deal with Frontiers Label Group and have been signed to Raw Power Management since 2025
I started teaching in 2021 and have loved helping guide and mentor beginner, intermediate and advanced/professional drummers. My aim with teaching is to help build you into the drummer YOU want to be! And to do this through fun and encouraging lessons with clear structure and goals. Whether your aim is to become a professional drummer, playing for fun or even having no idea! We will explore all the different avenues of drumming and figure out together what the best route to go down is.
Lessons
I offer lessons from ages 16+ with any and all experience! Helping to build and learn technique, hand & foot development, sight reading, rudiment application and exploring various musical genres. 1-1 lessons can take place at my in home studio, or if preferred I can travel to you (around North London).
When we meet we can talk about what what your goals are, and for anyone wanting to do grades. I use the Rockschool syllabus, but if Trinity is your preferred syllabus I am happy to use that as well!
